This letter is a recommendation letter for a fantastic contractor that just finished an extensive renovation on our home in Garden City. In the building business I understand how challenging projects can be and want to applaud the efforts of Nick Zoumas and his company over the last couple of months.

My company policy prohibits me using my own subcontractors so I was very pleased to find a contractor in Almas Construction who was very responsible from the outset.

During the bidding process for the job Nick was always available and always willing to answer any questions we had during the process. Our renovation involved a full extension of the house towards the back property line with basically an entire new second floor renovation on the house. Based on the content for my family to be out of the house we needed to complete the project in a very tight time frame. Nick was very conscious and focused on the schedule from the start and finished this new renovation from the first week of July and finished before Labor Day. I have found that Nick possesses all the qualities that are critical for a good builder to succeed. He is very focused on quality, he pays attention to the details in the schedule and lastly is very competitive on price. Nick's team of subcontractors was very responsible and Nick always had a hands on approach on any issue that came up during the course of the project. I did not have any issues with him through the course of the project and any additional items were based on additional scope items which we voluntarily added to the project.

We would fully recommend Nick and his team based on our experience and the quality of work that he performed for us in a very short time frame.

The quality of construction was only topped by the beautiful finishing touches that ended up being exactly what we wanted. You were always sensitive to all our needs and were always willing to work with us on any changes we wanted.

From day one there was always a crew working on the house until it was finished. There was never any time throughout the whole process when we couldn’t reach you Nick, and when you were finished you still made yourself available to answer any questions we had.
